Our Story
As a Resident Engineer I always took the students place on site by the client to gain site experience under my wing, showing them what to do and how to do it. Patiently and passionately sharing my knowledge. I started compiling a A4 checklist to summerizing the main supervision tasks to be done on site.
In 2013 I met Allison Lawless and told her about my vision to train and mentor Resident Engineers and other site supervision staff on road and bridge contruction projects. And that how it all began...

01
Dr Allyson Lawless
Allison was the first woman to become a SAICE president in 2000. She published a report "Numbers & Needs" in 2005.
She told me that the training need iin South Africa much greater and should expand my training.
02
Numbers & Needs
The report states: "South Africa is short of experienced mid-career professionals who can take over the reins. South Africa is training too few engineers...
Recommendations:
Re-introduce structured workplace training throughout the industry."

03
SAICE course & Manual
With Allyson's help I wrote a 236 page manual and compiled a 2 day course:"Getting aquanted with being a Resident Engineer" in 2021.
The course is very popular and highly recommended.
04
Mentorship Program
I also compiled a Menstorship Program helping personnel on site with supervision through a mobile App. The program will be completed soon.
The introductory version was finished in 2023
